Mimosa Farming Pty Ltd was established in 1991 by the Namibian born owner, Sarel du Toit. Mimosa Farming is a Namibian company with its administrative offices based in Stellenbosch, RSA and Namibia. The main concerns of Mimosa Farming are cattle breeding; horse breeding and professional hunting. This takes place on Farm Lauwater Wes, which is 7403 hectares registered game farm within a formal conservancy (Dordabis). 

Mimosa Farming bought this farm in 1997 and since then it developed into a successful, owner managed farming entity. Lauwater Wes is one of the oldest established farms in Namibia and before Mimosa Farming took ownership, this farm was passed down generations of Keil Family. The Keil Family founded this farm in the early 1900’s after emigrating from Germany. 

The farm it is easily accessible by road or air and is 155km south east from Windhoek, the capital of Namibia.
